1978

Televerket and the US conglomerate ITT launch the first edition of the Yellow Pages (Gula Sidorna) in Sweden.

1984

Televerket exercises its option to acquire ITT’s share of the Swedish directory operations.

1991

Televerket forms a separate directory unit in which all directory operations are consolidated. The following expansion initiatives included acquisitions and introductions of directories in Estonia and Latvia in 1992, Russia, Lithuania and Belarus in 1993, the Netherlands and the US in 1994, Denmark in 1995 and 1996, Austria in 1997 and Poland and the Ukraine in 1997.
