1996

Eniro’s Internet history begins in Sweden with the launch of the Yellow Pages on the Internet. The directory is expanded to include search functions in both the Yellow Pages and what were then the Pink Pages plus links to maps.

1999

A completely new Internet platform was built using the latest web technology. Users are offered advanced map functions, including displaying hits on a map, searching in the vicinity, showing companies in a mapped area, searching for addresses and maps.

2000

Eniro was established in June 2000 when several companies with similar operations within the Telia group at that time were gathered under the parent company Eniro AB. On October 10, 2000, Eniro was listed on the O list of the Stockholm Stock Exchange.

Eniro was the first among European directory companies to offer mobile positioning services.
