2004

Eniro AB acquired Gula Tidningen AB and strengthened its position in the Swedish market for classified ads. The service gulatidningen.se was re-launched as Eniro Buy and Sell.

Eniro decided to focus on the Nordic countries and Poland and began divestment of operations in Eastern Europe.

Eniro decided to launch Eniro Telephone Directories in 33 retail areas in Finland. Previously, Eniro had published regional directories in Helsinki and Tampere.

Enire.se was recognized as the best utility site in Internet World’s annual ranking.

2005

The Nordic search company Findexa was acquired. Findexa has its roots in the unit that as of 1995 was called Telenor Media and which was purchased in 21001 by the Texas Pacific Group. Eniro also acquired several directory services in Finland.
Eniro sold its operations in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuanian and operations in Russia and Belarus.

With the introduction of eniro.no in 2005, Eniro’s Internet and mobile services became available throughout the Nordic region. It is now possible to search for companies, products, organizations, public authorities and private persons plus maps and travel directions in all of the Nordic countries.

Eniro licensed a technical platform for sponsored links from MIVA and acquired MIVA’s sponsored link network in Sweden, Norway and Denmark (Espotting Scandinavia).

Eniro became the Nordic search partner to Skype.

2006

Following the acquisition of Findexa in Norway, Eniro invested in and focused on the gulesider.no and kvasir.no Internet services.

Eniro entered the market for price comparisons with the acquisition of Norway’s DinPris AS.

In December, Eniro launched a new version of eniro.xx in Sweden, Finland and Denmark.
